15 July 1888 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord
Sunday. 15th [July 1888]. I was so well that I got up abt 12 & went downstairs & lay on the porch. It was a hot sultry day. Went out with Henry. I drove in the carriole & Henry walked by the side. We went by the road on this side of the valley to Sira bridge & back by the other. Fred, Ray & Leo walked towards the saetter. We dined at 5 & then abt 9 all went off fishing in different directions. I went to the bridge. There had been a clap of thunder during dinner & a few drops of rain & it became cooler. The fish were jumping but I got no rise & went to bed before the others came in.
