Sunday. 16th [December 1888]. Went to both services. Mrs Brown came back to lunch & I took her to afternoon service. Ola had a headache. No one came to tea– Wrote letters. Dined at 7. Mr Brown came to dinner & then went with Henry to the committee meeting abt Fra. Paolo Sarpi’s monument– All were rejected & a fresh tender made. Henry & Mr B. returned to tea abt 10.30. | |
