19 January 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 19th [January 1889]. Had a violent headache & had to remain in bed all day only going into the studio abt 5 o’cl. There was a large party made to go to the Malibran theatre to see the Circus. Mrs Eden dined here & went there with our party. I went back to bed. | |
