13 July 1889 — Milton Court, nr. Dorking, Surrey | |
Saturday. 13th [July 1889]. Mrs Rate telegraphed to Blanche & E. to come & they arrived by the same train as we did. I helped Mrs R to arrange furniture in the morning & in the afternoon took a drive with her in her pony shay & she called on a Mrs Legge & found her at home—a very handsome pleasant looking woman & a tiny very pretty house. | |
