Wednesday. 24th [July 1889]. We dined with Lady Galway– Very pleasant. Mr Childers took me down & I sat next the new American Minister Mr Lincoln who was very pleasant. Lady Blandford & her girl were there. I had not met Lady B. since she came to Madrid just after her marriage & before the girl was born—abt 19 years ago! | |
