15 January 1890 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 15th [January 1890]. Got up late. Edith Bronson came to play the guitar with me. Still foggy. Did not go out. Nela in bed with influenza & Annie still laid up. Read aloud to Henry. Visit from M & Mme Mimaut at tea time. Henry went to play whist at the Canevaros in evening. Had an alarm that Annie was worse & was called to her but found her suffering fm weakness. | |
