22 February 1890 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 22nd [February 1890]. Got up after breakfast. Had a guitar band practise from 3 to 4.30. Henry’s cold prevented him going out & he is anxious to get rid of it as we have promised to go next Monday to stay with Css Pisani at Vescovana. After dinner I played guitar to Eda’s mandoline, Ola’s mandola. | |
