16 December 1890 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 16th [December 1890]. Better & got up abt 11. Very cold & a change of weather—& it began to snow. Mr Malcolm called– Did not go out. Read aloud most of the afternoon to Henry. The coloured calicoes came from London & Mr Woods came to tea to inspect them & to arrange about our Christmas procession. Very cold night– | |
