4 May 1891 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Monday. 4th [May 1891]. I was still unwell & not able to get up until in time to dress & go & dine with Mrs Higford Burr where we met the Gregorys—Arthur Russell, Miss Duff Gordon & Sir Fred Burton– Of course I was unable to eat—Mrs Burr was very feeble & said she had not been well. There is a deal of influenza about & many people have been struck down with it. We took Miss D. Gordon & Lady Gregory to their respective homes. | |
