10 August 1891 — Milton Court, nr. Dorking, Surrey | |
Monday. 10th August [1891]. Capt. Lethbridge left—a pleasant young man—fond of reading & of flowers &c. Mr Anstruther went away but returned for dinner as did Mr Hoare. After luncheon Henry & I drove over to Fredley to pay a visit to Mrs Kay & Miss Drummond. Found them sitting out of doors & they gave us tea there. They also took photographs of us & we walked in the garden—& returned home to Milton by abt 9 o’cl. Showery day. | |
