2 June 1893 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Friday. 2nd [June 1893]. Nelly Alderson, Blanche & her boy Bertie, Daisy Du Cane all came to see me in the morning before I got up. A Felicia & her daughter Eve came to luncheon & Mr Rassam– I drove at 3 with Henry & Nela– Left Henry at the Atheneum. Went to see Blanche Lady Lindsay– Saw my brother Arthur walking in Piccadilly & stopped the carriage & spoke to him. Then went to St James St to find Henry & bring him home to tea– Mr Herbert Thompson called & Mrs Castle—& Ruth & Daisy– The latter with their father returned & dined with us. Lady Gregory dined out. Lady Sophia Palmer came to see me just before dinner. | |
