15 September 1893 — Glencarron Lodge, Ross and Cromarty | |
Friday. 15th September [1893]. I & Louis went down to the Home Pools in the morning & I got a 2 lb grilse. Louis got trout 1¼ lb. In the afternoon Henry & I went to the Black Pool & fished in vain with flies—after Henry was gone I got 2 lb trout with a worm & fished some small pool on the way home in vain. | |
