23 November 1893 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 23rd [November 1893]. Nela & I breakfasted early & went off to the studio to meet Mr Woods who gave us some hints & was very kind. After lunch I went out in gondola with Henry to the Edens & they were out so I went to call on Miss More who was also out. Henry brought me home & went on to call on Mme Hurtado. Mrs Bronson, Edith B. & Css Brazza came at 4.30 & paid me a long visit. After dinner Trombini came in to bring us some new guitar & mandoline music & stayed till 11 trying it over with us. | |
