Friday. 1st December [1893]. We went to the studio & began a fresh study of Caterina’s head– In afternoon I went out with Carry Eden first to an ironmonger in the Rio S. Gregorio to see abt getting some iron gates made—then I took Carry in gondola to S. Caterina for her to pay a visit, looked at old furniture at S. Tomà &c. | |
