6 December 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 6th [December 1894]. Another dull rainy day & no going out. Wrote in morning in library. Ola had a visit from Miss Keene. After lunch Ola & I went to work to make a lace lamp shade & had not finished it when Countess Canevaro arrived to tea at 5. She sat with me a long time & Ola then went out. After dinner Ola played piano & I finished the lamp shade. | |
