5 July 1895 — Devonshire House, Weymouth | |
Friday. 5th [July 1895]. Yesterday & today at the anniversaries of Henry’s death. Yesterday the day of the week which last year was 5th. I had 2 hard days of it living those sad hours all over again. I seem to feel it all even more than I did then. In the afternoon I went out for a sail in Monty’s boar into Portland bay & round the Italian fleet now at anchor there. Played Patience as usual in evening. | |
