8 July 1895 — Devonshire House, Weymouth | |
Monday. 8th [July 1895]. Today my French maid left me & went up to No 1 Q. Anne St in search of a place as courier maid & so ends this plan the last Henry made for my comfort. I went out for a long walk on the Dorchester road thro’ pretty quiet country lanes by Radipole. The Italian fleet fetes [ended] at midnight & they left Portland. | |
