14 July 1895 — Devonshire House, Weymouth | |
Sunday. 14th July [1895]. Went to morning service at Holy Trinity Church. Wrote a lot of letters. Took a walk after tea. Had a visit from Mr Herbert Evans of Forde Abbey–this year Sheriff for Dorsetshire– He said he was here for the elections. He lately married one of the Queen’s maids of honour. He is a college friend of my brothers. | |
