19 August 1895 — Bere Cottage, Bere Regis, Dorset | |
Monday. 19th August [1895]. Painted all morning model. At 3.30 Nelly drove me to Woodlands. We put up the horse & I fished up & down with no success. It was a lovely day but I only got so small a trout we had to throw it back in the river. We got home abt 7.30. Patience in eveng. | |
