Monday. 9th [December 1895]. Better & up. Lady Gregory came to lunch & we drove off together to the Southwark board school & stayed there about an hour & then A. went home & I ditto. Sir F. Burton came to tea also Maria & Nela—& Aline Lambton who starts this week for Cairo. | |
