11 August 1896 — Villa Mier, Belluno | |
Tuesday. 11th [August 1896]. A pouring wet day & there was no going out till the afternoon when it cleared for a short time & we sent for a carriage & Sophy took out the Curtis for a drive to Socchieva to see the Wiels. In the morning I painted a fan while Sophy read Gibbon aloud. | |
