Monday. 23rd November [1896]. Sophy Palmer came to lunch with me at 2 ock. I painted a fan for B. in the morng & whilst I was at work several men came to see the house with a view to buying it which upset me a good deal. Maria came to tea. Sophy went away soon after 4. | |
