11 March 1897 — 3 Savile Row
Thursday. 11th March [1897]. I was better & able to work in the studio today till 12.30 when Blanche came to see me & Augusta came to work at the MS with Nellie & stayed to lunch. I then lent her the carriage for the afternoon & I & Nellie took a walk to Cavendish Square & sat with Blanche a little while & talked over Garry Hill work & on the way home we bought some silk & set to work to make different things for the Sale to come on next week. Maria came to tea looking much better & saying she felt so. Nellie & I worked on in the evening & also read some MS together.
