16 March 1897 — Lutterworth | |
Tuesday. 16th [March 1897]. I lay in bed late & Eda & I corrected some of the MS. We also worked at spangling some silk for the Irish sale & sent it off by the evening post. We took a short walk in the afternoon Kate, Eda & I but were driven home by a shower of rain & had to turn our attention to wood carving which the family here has taken up. | |
