Sunday. 4th [April 1897]. I took Mary to service at 12 at the Chapel Royal. Her brother Augustus came to luncheon with us & afterwards took his sister to service at Westr Abbey. I sat alone all the afternoon & wrote & enjoyed a quiet time as Mary stayed out till after tea. | |
