31 May 1897 — Bere Cottage, Bere Regis, Dorset | |
Monday. 31st [May 1897]. Went out with Arthur to the river by the Court Farm & watched him fish in the morning. At 4 Nelly drove me in the van to Chamberlain’s bridge where I fished in vain. We had tea from the tea basket down by the river– Returned home abt 7.30. | |
