18 June 1897 — Bere Cottage, Bere Regis, Dorset | |
Friday. 18th [June 1897]. It blew hard all day & was cold. I sat by the fire with Arthur all the morning. Went out after tea in hopes of being able to fish but the wind was too high & had to give up the attempt. | |
