Sunday. 20th [June 1897]. Today being the day of the Queen’s Accession to the throne & appointed especially this year as a thanksgiving for H.M.’s long reign we had a special service & sang “God save the Queen” at both morning & evening services to which Onie Ponsonby & I went. | |
