Monday. 10th [January 1898]. Began to copy the picture here by Ercole Grandi & worked at it till lunch. Css Capaci called after lunch abt work to embroider for me. Went out to Piazza with Nela & walked on Piazzetta. Brando Brandolin came to tea & Css Giulia Persico. Typed till dinner. Reading aloud in evening. | |
