Tuesday. 25th [January 1898]. Olga Mocenigo came to lunch with us & leaves this evening for Trieste by steamer. Nela & I went to call on Css Giulia Persico whose “day” it was & therefore we found her at home. Countess Vera Brazza came to tea. Nela went to the Fenice with Baroness Franchetti the pretty young wife of the man who has bought Ca d’Oro & is restoring it beautifully. | |
