3 April 1899 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 3rd [April 1899]. I breakfasted at 8 in the studio, Lady V in her room & the 3 girls in the dining room at 9. I returned to my work of type writing for Henry’s memoirs—& do it all the morning. After lunch went out with Lady Vivian & we went to the Eden’s garden—found the Padroni there & took tea with them. I received in the evening & not very many people came. Countess Morosini & the Dss della Grazia & Css Albrizzi were amongst the number & a few men– The Vivian twins are much admired. | |
