19 May 1899 — 3 Savile Row
Friday. 19th [May 1899]. Mary Alderson & I left London & went to Lutterworth by a train at 11.15 which got there after 2. Eda met us. It was rainy & we had to go to the Rectory in a fly as tho’ the distance from station to house is short we should have got wet. My sister Kate & her husband the Canon received us with open arms. Reggie came down by a latter train.
