Friday. 1st February [1901]. Snowed the live long day—great blobs of flakes which towards evening turned to rain. Modelled—wrote letters. Mme Wiel came to see me to tell me about the music for tomorrow’s service. Mr Browning also came having come for the service he being a church warden. We were alone for a short time & we talked some about Fannie. He seems worried. Says his aunt who is 89 is weak & ailing. | |
