28 April 1901 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 28th [April 1901]. Went to morning service. The Curtis called in the afternoon & while they were with me a great thunderstorm and a deluge of rain came on & they had to remain 1½ hour till it cleared up. Went after dinner to the Wiels to arrange about getting up a concert to get money for our church. | |
