Monday. 9th [June 1902]. There were constant pourparlers as to whether we sisters should go down to Canford tomorrow to attend Maria’s funeral. Ivor & Edward Duncannon being decidedly against our taking such a long journey we decided not to go—then Kate wrote to say she thought we ought to do so—so I walked up to see Blanche in the morning & we decided to do so– Blanche & Irene came to dine with me– | |
