14 June 1902 — 3 Savile Row | |
Saturday. 14th [June 1902]. Nela came up from Branksome Dene abt 12 & we walked out together to shop– It poured with rain & has done so nearly all this month. Nela & I went together to Peterboro’ to stay with the Aldersons. Found Kate had a bad cold the result of going to the funeral from here & back the same day having got back at 1 A.M. We went out together to the old furniture shops & to a house in the Precincts where a Mrs Gates had lived & there is to be a sale of furniture. | |
