12 January 1904 — Inwood, Henstridge, Somerset
Tuesday. [12th January 1904]. I went to Canford by a morning train which got me there just in time for luncheon. Only little Oscar at home besides Ivor & Cornelia. Found them both well. Ivor looking far younger than poor Merthyr—walking about & playing racquets altho’ he complained of gout in one foot. Francie Thesiger & Fred came over to dine & sleep.
