11 April 1905 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 11th [April 1905]. I meant to have gone out today but it was not quite warm eno’. I wrote letters & began to prepare the Hospital Report for printing. At tea time when my guests came in I made tea. Baroness Reinelt also came in to tea with us. A Dr Bally a friend of the P. & Pss came to dine. He is a Swiss & speaks every European language fluently—an agreeable amusing man. | |
