26 December 1905 — Bikaner | |
Tuesday. 26th December [1905]. We got up betimes & were ready to start at 8 a.m. when Mr Cooper appeared to take us to the station where we took leave of him. He had much to do there also making fresh plans for the Maharaja’s camp & we were very nearly carrying off by mistake in our carriage His Highness’ supply of fresh butter!
