9 March 1906 — En route to Venice | |
Friday. 9th [March 1906]. So tired that I slept late & did not get on deck till after 12—& then after struggling to keep up after 1 o’cl lunch I gave in & retired again to my cabin & slept away the afternoon turning into my berth again stead of going to dinner. This is the reaction of the last 4 months fatigues. | |
