15 March 1906 — En route to Venice | |
Thursday. 15th [March 1906]. We are going along pleasantly—it is warm but not over much. I found amongst the Bombay passengers one person I knew a Mrs Bailey whom I had known at Bombay—a friend of Mrs Dunlop’s—& who had taken me to the Purdah party for the Pss of Wales. She has had fever & is going home with a hospital nurse. | |
