Sunday. 22nd [September 1907]. I got downstairs at last & several people came to see me in the afternoon amongst them Princess Polignac, Mrs Curtis & Mr Hulton. People are beginning to return from their villeggiatura & there are a good many of the smart London set here now viz Lady Charles Beresford, Lady de Grey, Miss Muriel Wilson &c &c. Lady Ormonde also who brought me a letter of introduction from the Bessboroughs. | |
