5 October 1907 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. [5th October 1907]. Having wished to make the Monods known to the Montalbas I went in there to tea to introduce them—but they did not turn up & I heard afterwards that M. Monod came later. I went to the Hospital to have my rheumatic knee masséd—& the Dr there recommended me to try blistering it so in the evening Sister Chaffey came over & applied a blister after I was in bed. | |
