15 December 1907 — Lutterworth | |
Sunday. 15th [December 1907]. I was better & got up late. Went to evening church with them. It was sad to see poor Kate when she must have felt Cecil’s absence so keenly—in his own church. She & I walked most days while I stayed at Lutterworth & we could talk of all she has been through & compare notes of our losses—& I hope it did her good to talk of her sorrow to one who could understand it too well. | |
