31 December 1907 — 3 Savile Row | |
Tuesday. 31st [December 1907]. We all left & returned to London. I travelled up with the Hope Johnstons & was home for lunch. I telephoned to Monty & asked him to dine with me– He said he had promised to dine with old Sir Allan Perry so I begged them both to come. He telephoned later to say they would do so & so we had a pleasant little party together & sat quietly talking afterwards till 11 when they left—& I went to bed– We did not “see the New Year in” together but I finished the old year peacefully & pleasantly—& went early to bed. | |
