21 April 1908 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 21st [April 1908]. I woke with a headache & remained in bed till eveng. The Bishop & Mrs Collins arrived from Florence to stay at 2. Nellie received them & Canon Ragg took them out to do business he had. I got up for dinner & in the evening had a large party for the English & American colony “to meet the Bishop.” About 150 people came & it was very animated. | |
