4 May 1908 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 4th [May 1908]. Today the Bülows having left Venice Donna Laura Minghetti & Herr Tagow came to stay with me. I attended the yearly meeting at our church. The Canon Ragg made statements & accounts were read. The Canon said amongst other things that I had founded the sailors Inst. This I had to deny & said it was Mr Brown who did so. He was present & looked relieved when I said it. Took Da Laura & Tagow for a row. Dominos in eveng. | |
