13 September 1908 — Salce, Belluno | |
Sunday. 13th [September 1908]. I walked along the high road towards Sacchieva. Met people going to church—all wished me a pleasant “buon giorno” as we passed each other. I turned off the road by the Villa near the Church & returned to Salce by the fields. It was a lovely morning & I brought home garlands of wild hops from the hedges. In the afternoon it turned cold. Walked with the Edens after tea to their other farm Maserna. | |
