Thursday. 19th [November 1908]. Gale continues & there is no post– The railways in Sicily were also washed away. The scirocco was so strong that I was quite incapacitated all day. In the afternoon I accompanied the party to the Marsa & by way of exercise accompanied them to see them play golf– I had never seen the game before. | |
