Friday. 11th [December 1908]. Nora Hallé arrived from Paris at 12 oclock to stay with me & we intend to work hard at enamelling which she has promised to teach me. Mrs Curtis is back at Palazzo Barbaro & has Miss Jessie Allen to stay with her. It is very said for her this first home coming without her husband– I know very well what it is. Nora & I worked hard at our enamelling every morning & began to see results. | |
